Meet The Principal Architect
Geeta Alodia is an Architect, Urban Designer, Researcher, Publisher and Editor with over two decades of experience in architecture, urban design, and sustainable development. Her work focuses on creating context-responsive, people-centric, and environmentally conscious spaces that contribute meaningfully to cities and communities.
Since 1996, she has been involved in architecture, urban design, project strategy, and execution, with a strong focus on sustainable, functional, and context responsive environments. She holds a Master of Architecture (M.Arch) from School of Planning and Architecture Delhi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Environment and Sustainable Development from IGNOU.
Her work emphasizes integrated urban design, sustainable planning, public realm development, and people-centric spaces that positively contribute to cities and communities.
Her research paper as a co-author, “Analyzing the Current Rental Housing Situation for Migrant Workers in Delhi,” was published in the International Journal of Housing and Human Settlement Planning.
She is also the Founder and Editor of The Architecture and Planning News, a professional platform focused on architecture, urban planning, sustainability, and contemporary development issues, connecting professionals, academia, institutions, and policymakers.
